What supports the matcha program.

FDA-registered manufacturer facility

The matcha is produced at a manufacturer facility registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. FDA registration is not FDA approval or endorsement.

Easterlies-maintained FSVP

Easterlies maintains the Foreign Supplier Verification Program for the matcha it imports into the United States. FSVP is an importer compliance responsibility, not a product certification.

USDA Organic options

Both ceremonial and culinary matcha are available in USDA Organic-certified options, alongside conventional options.

Independent third-party verification

Quality and facility claims are supported through independent third-party testing and review. Provider identities and reports are not published on this website.

What the third-party scope covers.

Independent work checks that the material is represented accurately and evaluates purity within the applicable specification.

Testing covers pesticide-residue parameters relevant to the matcha quality program.

Testing covers heavy-metal parameters relevant to the matcha quality program.

Microbiological testing forms part of the independent quality scope.

Organic matcha options are supported by USDA Organic certification; conventional options are labeled separately.

Independent review also covers relevant manufacturer facility practices.
